African Bank’s Audacious Rewards wins big at International Loyalty Awards
Johannesburg - African Bank has announced that its unique rewards programme, Audacious Rewards, has emerged as the winner at the International Loyalty Awards held in Dubai on April 24th. The Group said its Audacious Rewards was honoured in the Best Short Term Loyalty Initiative, underscoring its dedication to innovative customer experiences and financial empowerment.
The bank said Audacious Rewards represents a paradigm shift in loyalty programmes, going beyond traditional points-based systems to provide tangible benefits and provide positive financial habits among its members. The programme's success demonstrates its commitment to modify financial services and empowering individuals from all walks of life, it added.
Sbusiso Kumalo, Group Chief Marketing Officer at African Bank, expressed his excitement about the win, stating, "Being recognised at the International Loyalty Awards is a tremendous achievement for us. Audacious Rewards epitomises our mission to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our customers, offering them rewards they can truly count on."
Since its launch in February 2023, Audacious Rewards has seen remarkable growth, surpassing business targets with over 57 000 members joining in March 2024 alone. The programme's members have not only contributed to a substantial increase in revenue but have also demonstrated a higher engagement with African Bank's suite of financial solutions.
One of the key highlights of Audacious Rewards is its ability to promote responsible financial behaviour, such as credit score monitoring, said the Group, adding that in March alone, over 50 000 credit reports were requested by rewards members, showcasing a proactive approach towards financial well-being.
African Bank said its Audacious Rewards is not just a loyalty programme; it's a catalyst for change and progress, and by offering valuable rewards and encouraging a more inclusive financial ecosystem, it continues to redefine the banking experience and empower individuals to achieve their financial goals.
